Are You A Real Estate Investor?

When I ask people this question today, it seems most people claim they are property investors. However it seems the way they define of a property investor differ from one person to another. The most common descriptions of a property investors are as follows:

1. I own my house. I am an investor since I accumulate value when the price of my house increases.
2. I own real estate other than my own house. My aim is to sell the properties at a later date at a higher price.
3. I own real estate other than my own house. My aim is to collect rent from these properties.

So what is the correct definition? Honestly I do not have an answer. However whichever investor you are, the purpose of this blog is to help you explore the properties out there and hopefully they will be able to become the type of investor you want to be.

This blog will review the investments, policies, news in Asia to give investors an insight of the changing landscape in the world of property investing.
